Independence Day Celebrations 2018

***Update: Due to dry conditions a Stage 2 fire warning is in effect for Eagle County. All firework shows have been canceled; however, there are still many fun events to enjoy in Vail and Beaver Creek villages.

Independence Day celebrations are abundant in the Vail Valley. When you stay at Lodge Tower,  you can enjoy up to 3 days of activities and 3 nights of firework shows either walking distance or a short drive away. July 4th in Vail is fun for the whole family from parades, to music to firework shows – not to mention hiking, biking, and other activities in between!

July 2
Minturn Independence Day Celebration
Enjoy music, fun, and entertainment for the whole family from 5:30 – 9:00 pm.

July 3
Avon Salute to the USA
The Town of Avon celebrates Independence Day with a celebration in Harry A. Nottingham Park. Everyone will enjoy face painters, fire jugglers, stilt walkers, balloon sculptors, magicians, fresh squeezed lemonade, and funnel cakes! The grand finale is the largest fireworks display in the Colorado Rockies. The show is choreographed to music on the local radio station, KZYR 97.7.

July 4
Vail America Days
Located steps from our doors, the Vail America Days Parade kicks off at 10:00 am winding its way from Golden Peak to Lionshead. Enjoy a patriotic concert at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra after the parade. Lawn seats are complimentary, while there is space. The annual Vail Fireworks Show takes place at Golden Peak, fireworks will go off at approximately 9:30 pm.

Beaver Creek Independence Day
Enjoy a free concert on the lawn followed by a spectacular fireworks display on Beaver Creek Mountain.
12:00 – 5:00 pm Stars, Stripes & Slides – free slides & bounce houses (Base of Chair 6)
1:00 – 7:00 pm Kids’ Zone – free arts & crafts, face painting & games (Village Plaza)
2:00 pm Food vendors and bar opens (Centennial Park)
4:00 pm Live Music (Centennial Park)
6:00 pm Live Music – Delta Rae (Centennial Park)
8:15 pm Live Music – Walker Hayes (Centennial Park)
