Three Summer Hikes

Hiking in Colorado allows you to rejuvenate in nature and soak in the fresh mountain air. Vail offers guests hikes with spectacular views that will be talked about for years to come. We have put together our three favorite hikes in Vail that are a staple piece to any summer vacation in the mountains.

Booths Falls

Located within the Eagle Nest Wilderness, this 3.9 mile trail is marked with groves of aspen trees and features a spectacular waterfall. Just around the corner in East Vail, this moderate trail is a short drive from the Vail Village.

Shrine Ridge

This beautiful 4 mile hike gives you 360 degree views including Copper Mountain, Mt of the Holy Cross, the Gore Range and Vail’s back bowls. During the mid-summer wildflower season the meadows are painted with color. This hike is go-to for locals to bring visitors because as close as you can get to hiking a Colorado 14er but much much easier!

Gore Creek

This moderate trail features a beautiful waterfall and Gore Lake. The soothing sound of Gore Creek throughout the hike makes for a wonderful experience.

Contact the Lodge Tower concierge for any questions on how to access the hikes.
